Howdy all! what a gorgeous autumn week it's been so far. So looking forward to seeing y'all on Thursday! Our survival theme is "Shelter"--we are already excited to see the amazingness you've come up with.
First, the basics:
* When: this Thursday, 11/19, @ 9:45am - 2pm
* Where: Wakemans Grove Church of the Brethren, Edinburg
* Theme: Survival: SHELTER
* Lunch: bring your own. We'll provide drinks.
* Wall of Praise: kids & parents alike! bring praises to write on bricks to continue building on our Wall of Praise!
Next: housekeeping.
* Sign-in: EVERYONE needs to sign in & get a nametag, please; we'll also take your registration & dues if you haven't paid yet ($25 per family for the year). At the sign-in table we'll also have field trip signups and other info.
* K/1 class will be led by Lisa Copp Croft. Thanks, Lisa!
* Young Artists Club: we're dividing into 2 clubs. Alicia W will keep the 3/4 year olds (assistants needed!), and Hannah & Beth will take the 5/6 year olds. Thanks, all!
* Based on class size, we'll be doing a bit of club room swapping & beg your patience.
* Teachers/club leaders: remember to turn in your receipts! be sure to let us know if there's anything you need or any way in which we can help you.
Upcoming events:
* Dec 4 Dayton Historical trip. DEADLINE to sign up is Thursday 11/19; you must have signed up and paid by Thursday to be included. Contact Lisa Copp Croft with questions.
* Nov 23: the moms' fellowship group is taking place on Monday at 7p at Sew & Vac in Woodstock. This month's topic: reading! bring questions, reading lists, thoughts on teaching methods, book reports, etc, along with your praise & prayer requests.
* March 1-3: our dates for the big trip to Williamsburg/Jamestown/
